Hi all,
Has anyone seen this thing called "coupon drop down" ? It is a redirect false flag to advertisements or surveys.
You click on a "next" link, or the last page link, which are highlighted as active links, but the redirect takes you to someplace other than what is indicated.
I am NOT a fan.....Any ideas on how to get rid of it ?
Thanks,
Onona
Sheesh, just typing the word “surveys” in my post creates a redirect link.....
There should be a little gear thingy on your toolbar.
On most browsers, it lets you choose, add or eliminate toobar features.
Just eliminate the icon with the coupon and scissors.
You installed a toolbar probably on accident.
What browser are you using?
You’ve got adware!
Run your favorite scanner/removal tool ASAP.
sounds like a browser hijack
Bump
"...dang, it's the runaway scizzzzzors coupon handout freebie and tracking thingy"....FReeps to the rescue"
Ping
Malware bytes killed it.
Had another one that wouldn't go away and finally had to use hijack this to go into the registry and kill it.
Damn, that’s just how I looked too.
