BLAIRSVILLE, Pa.- Authorities in Pennsylvania said a man faces charges including reckless endangerment for allegedly shooting a white-tailed deer in a Walmart parking lot.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission said Arcangelo Bianco Jr., 40, used a handgun to shoot the deer in the parking lot of the Resort Plaza Walmart in Blairsville in November and bagged the buck on the other side of the road, The Indiana (Pa.) Gazette reported Wednesday.
In addition to misdemeanor reckless endangerment, Bianco faces five hunting-related summary charges, including hunting without a license, shooting on or across highways and unlawful killing or taking of big game.
"Obviously, we can't have someone running through a Walmart parking lot shooting at a deer," wildlife conservation officer Jack Lucas said.
The case is scheduled for a preliminary hearing May 1.
Pennsylvania....no wonder
In many southern and western states....the cops wouldve said “good shot” and helped load it in his vehicle
TWICE (once on Pittsburgh’s Parkway East and once on US RT 30) I have seen drivers pulled over, w/a handsaw, cutting the head/rack off deers that were obviously “roadkill.”
It’s a a west of the Alleghenies sorta thang...
You are good Joe:) that was quick!
Btw, the guy cutting the rack on the Parkway East was dressed in business attire and it was in the morning rush hour. I always wondered how he ‘’splained the blood that no doubt got in his clothes doing his roadside taxidermy.
But a game warden or police officer could have shot it and been applauded.
:)
How the buck got into Walmart is a complete mystery
Ok, Bianco, repeat after me: “It was coming right at me, so I shot it in self defense.”
“not if Im a series hunter I aint.”
I hope your a series hunter, because it’s not safe to shoot at multiple targets at the same time.
Well, yes, there *is* that. :-)
How stupid can you get?
