New York fashion blogger Brittny Pierre is not ashamed to admit that she had gone out on dozens of dates with men for the sole purpose of getting a square meal.
Pierre, who has been writing for Village Voice Media and a hip hop website, made the confession in a piece written in the first person that appeared on the feminist blog XOJane this week.
The woman detailed how she would meet her 'victims' on the dating site OKCupid and through Craigslist, and would go out for dinner three times a week with different men, allowing them to foot the bill every time.

I’d say she was no different than a prostitute but in some ways, she’s worse than a prostitute. At least with a prostitute, you know that if you pay the money, you’ll get the — uh — service. This lowlife con-woman goes on dating site and gets men to believe she is interested in them when in reality she is scaming them. Imagine how they feel. Some may be trying to go back into the dating market for the first time and can be hurt by something like this.

What magically makes this 'OK'? You give a woman a meal of chicken carbonara and asparagus, and she's obligated to put out?

“Brittny”...That’s about all you have to read to know where this article is going. Without even reading this article or knowing what it’s about, I am going to guess it’s about Brittny being extremely high maintenance or about her getting guys to spend money on her. I do-not-even have to read this because just by that name alone I know EXACTLY what it’s going to be about.
And here’s a shocker: some men date arm candy, just to be seen out dating arm candy.
There are plenty of men and women meant for each other, even if it’s just a you-scratch-my-back date or two.
I say to each his/her own!
I don’t think Brittny is telling us anything new. For thousands of years, men have been taking women out on dinner dates, and the expectations haven’t changed:
The women hope to get a free meal. The men hope to get laid.
