New York fashion blogger Brittny Pierre is not ashamed to admit that she had gone out on dozens of dates with men for the sole purpose of getting a square meal.
Pierre, who has been writing for Village Voice Media and a hip hop website, made the confession in a piece written in the first person that appeared on the feminist blog XOJane this week.
The woman detailed how she would meet her 'victims' on the dating site OKCupid and through Craigslist, and would go out for dinner three times a week with different men, allowing them to foot the bill every time.

A man should never spend more than 40 bucks for a date. He should eat a good meal before taking her out so all he has to order for himself is a salad.
hehe
I used to work with a tall, thin, gorgeous blonde whose housing and car expenses were such that she really couldn’t afford normal food. She did indeed accept almost all coffee, lunch and dinner dates from the numerous guys who hit on her in her very public job.
I have to say about the second or third "date" where I fed some girl and all I got was a good night kiss, she'd have to find her lunch ticket somewhere else.
We were Booty Whores; Confessions of the guys who dated the Dinner Whore
I would rather stay at home and make macaroni and cheese for myself than to date someone just to get a free dinner. But then, I’m a guy.
A way to avoid dinner.
When you’re asking her out, say something like “Well, what time are you eating dinner?”
She might think you’re asking her to dinner.
When she gives an answer, like “Oh, I was thinking about 7:30,” you make your move.
Say, “Ok, and about an hour and a half to eat, I’ll pick you up at 9 and we can get some drinks?”
You’ve done it.
She’ll probably look dumbfounded for a second, or think that you are a little “dense,” but you have just won. That’s an entire dinner you don’t have to pay for!
Village Voice - it makes sense that a leftist, post-modern rag is filled with materialist, scheming people
First clue.
Whew...I feel better getting that off my chest.
It’s your lucky day honey it’s McDonakds tonight.
Good grief.
Maybe you should have just offered to pay them cash, instead of food, if all you were looking for was a very cheap lay.
LOL!!!
And this piece of estrogen votes. Twice. In different states.
Any further comment on the facts would get me banned.
On a different thread Wasserman-Schultz is complaining her staff can’t afford a decent meal because of the sequester. Maybe they can try this?
She’s lucky she wasn’t hurt.
These threads tend to bring out some interesting attitudes that some men have toward women.
Men don't do the "date" thing because they are the ones paying but I know many men who do the same thing when invited for a business lunch/dinner. If I'm not interested in talking or doing business with someone, I wont go just for the free food. I'd rather eat at my desk and read than spend my time BSing someone for food.
Heck, I've been offered free exotic vacations by people wanting my business but never accepted if I knew I wasn't going to do business with them.
After all, if your aim is to have sex with a woman, what really is the difference between handing her a $100 bill or taking her out for dinner and a movie first?
I hate to sound so crass but if the end result is the same, then isn't the method of transaction irrelevant?
That said, as a man, I would much prefer the latter option as I prefer to have a nice dinner and conversation with a woman, even if it does not lead to anything afterwards. However, I do not begrudge consenting men and woman who prefer to distill their coupling into a simple business transaction.
Why should that be illegal? I think the restaurant and florist industries have their hands in these silly vice laws.
