one of the all time greats- he will be sorely missed....
Too bad that he didn’t get a chance to serve in the Obama Administration, he would have raised the moral standards by an order of magnitude.
Bill Clinton is no longer jealous.
RIP.
It’s a shame he didn’t make it to 69!
I was not a fan of his work and I never saw Deep Throat. But the man served this country in the US Marine Corp and later in life converted to Christianity; two redeeming qualities in spite of “acting”.
Nixon had to see deep throat 3 times before he could get it down Pat
When I heard this story via ABC news while listening to the Savage Nation when in another room , somewhat distracted at the time , I thought Harry Reid had died !
ping
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
A big loss
I remember when it was first showing in Orlando at some obscure porno theater on SOBT.
Local news was showing the long lines. Can’t remember if any of those in line were interviewed on camera.
With all of the publicity a buddy and I went to see it. I don’t recall much as I was coming off a back injury and was pretty medicated. I don’t think the film took itself too seriously.
I do recall one scene, which seemed funny at the time. Some character had been trying to make time with a girl. She kept telling him she would only have a man with a 9” member. Finally, near the end, he calls her and says he’s found a way to meet her standards. He’s got a doctor that will remove 3”.
I remember seeing Deep Throat with my girlfriend back in the 1970’s. The story was stupid. The movie was poorly done. Linda Lovelace was the only good thing about it. Later I found out Linda Lovelace was being beaten and abused by her husband during her porn career.
Reems? Damn near killed ‘um!
Anyone else remember the “I Choked Linda Lovelace” tee shirts?
65 my ass!!
RIP Harry glad to see that you found the Lord. Now enjoy your heavenly reward and all your earthly pain is now gone.
REALLY, NY Times?
well at least he was not Boehner fide.
Reems left the porn industry in 1980 and moved to Park City, Utah, where he later became a real-estate agent, marrying Jeanne in 1990. "He was very romantic and a great husband," she said. The actor, who struggled with multiple health problems which kept him at home in his final years, was admitted to hospital earlier this month. He also received chemotherapy treatment earlier this year for pancreatic cancer. "
His last year or so was really, really hard," Jeanne said.
Clearly the editor is a comedian.
Good riddance to scum like this.
