I've already seen guys trying to sell their ARs on the secondary market. One guy on our local gun forum was trying to sell two he had recently bought, and said he needed the cash worse than the guns.
I expect to see a lot of that.

My neighborhood gunshop said two weeks ago that they can’t sell AR-15s now after not being able to keep up with demand in December and January! Now they say they are having problems keeping up with demand for pistols.
Once people got their AR-15s, buyers started to snap up on pistols.

i’d consider a bushmaster if the price was right.

Without ammo, they make scary-looking clubs.

A brick & mortar LGS also had a variety of ARs when I stopped by this weekend, and while people were looking at them while I was there, I saw no frenzy to purchase. They also had ammunition, but have had quantity limits on it for a while.

Price of all ammo is out of hand. Can’t find 9mm anywhere(at a decent price)

Just as an aside, you guys probably know that a rifle marked 5.56 will also shoot a .223,
but the reverse isn't true. In case you don't know the details, read the story at link.

Supply is catching back up with demand (or demand is dropping off), so if I wait a few months and the price will probably return to normal.
Still won’t be able to find ammo, but I can at least get the weapon.

Son just got an S&W M&P AR-15 from a major area dealer and he said AR-15 prices are back to what they were before Newtown......
As everyone now knows, problem now is ammo.....
Just picked up a hundred rounds of 7.62x39 at a buck a round.

Prices should drop considerably now that a ban is off the table.
