According to the story I read, he didn’t let them in the house, and they didn’t push the issue because they didn’t have a warrant.
As usual - the headline is probably misleading and there is more to the story than is being told.
It doesn’t take much for an angry bitter ex wife/relative/friend/whatever to call in a bogus report. And a rifle???? OMG. What more proof do you need?

It also helped to have his lawyer on the speaker phone as a witness.
No warrant, no entry. End of discussion.
Original thread from two days ago.
The familys trouble started Saturday night when Moore received an urgent text message from his wife. The Carneys Point Police Dept. and the New Jersey Dept. of Children and Families had raided their home.
Moore immediately called Nappen and rushed home to find officers demanding to check his guns and his gun safe.
Instead, he handed the cell phone to one of the officers so they could speak with Nappen.
Thanks for that link...I did a search before posting...:(
I see nothing wrong with that picture.
OMG!! what is next are they going to raid the home of Little Carl who is on the Walking Dead for walking around with a gun?
The cops didn’t push the issue, that is they didn’t force their way in. However the DYFS agent pushed the issue, threatened the family with taking their kids, and the cops knew that the family’s lawyer was on speakerphone and listening to every word being said. The fact that four LEOs came with the DYFS creep showed they intended an active visit.
Cute kid!!!!!!
wait... what?
What is the problem with a kid holding a rifle? Shooting ranges around here have no real age limit as long as a parent is with them. They can even have birthday parties.
Nothing illegal about the pic, not even a suggestion of a problem in the pic.
Yes, because tons of government regulations trump the U.S. Constitution, so confirming that a violation takes time and speed is of the essence to search the premises for that evil black gun. These frikkin' people make my head hurt.
The cops only balked because they knew they were being “watched”. There is not even a hint of anything illegal in that pic.
I didn’t post it to chastise you. Two days is well past the moderator’s recommended four hour limit for re-posting and posting from another source is not considered re-posting. I only added it to cross-link back to the first thread for the information. :)
This is why the police must have drones. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have time to monitor all the Facebook pages.
This needs to be out there.
