It is 51 and sunny here, but it was cold enough for me to have on a flannel shirt and a hoodie early this morning in the woods-

Obama’s fawning minions have
Helped him to arrogate a mess-
Whether it was their intention
Is just about anybody’s guess

Maybe they thought sequester
Was a club to beat the masses
Instead they look just foolish
As they rush to cover their asses

Maybe they thought more hardship
Was something we all would fear-
But we’re not frightened by that-
It has already long been here...

Thank you! It is supposed to be 70 or so this afternoon-typical for this time of the year.

Chilly here this morning too but should be mid 60’s by afternoon. Sorry Ti, I know you must be getting sick of snow by now.

I love the idea of getting away from everything, and frontier living in Alaska-but the fact that it is so damn cold for all but 3 months of the year keeps me here

I love New Mexico-my first husband was from there, and we spent a lot of time there when we were married. Unfortunately, there are too many liberal imports in Santa Fe and other nice places for me to want to live there-if I were to relocate, it would be to Alaska, where I could live in peace and run a roadside business, cold or no...

What kind of roadside business? I imagine there’s not a lot of through traffic up there.

I don’t know, exactly-I suppose selling whatever natural foods, etc can be grown in a greenhouse in the great white north...

I know what I want to do if times get better right here-my home-grown veggies and herbs, incense, some religious articles, candles, etc. Maybe one day expand it to include homeopathic stuff. In either place, I’d need to rent a stall at a market-I don’t like to live on a main drag.

The Mayor tried to arrogate
Claiming "portion control" he can regulate
But a judge with a brain
Gave relief from the reign,
But New York is still a Nanny State.
