I think my favorite scene is Felix and Oscar's double date with the Pidgeon sisters played by the same actresses who would later reprise their roles on the TV series. And of course, who can forget Neal Hefti's theme music?

Oscar: I got, uh, brown sandwiches and, uh, green sandwiches. Which one do you want?

Murray: What's the green?

Oscar: It's either very new cheese or very old meat.

When I was looking for an apartment in NYC about 20 years ago, a roommate matching service (which wound up doing nothing for me) used this as its hold music.
