Recently watching reruns of the classic TV series on the ME TV channel is the inspiration for today's feature, the hit comedy film which served as its basis. To quote the intro from the TV series: "Can 2 divorced men share an apartment without driving each other crazy?"
Great movie,great cast.Thanks
Murray: What's the green?
Oscar: It's either very new cheese or very old meat.
Great film - the poker game was hilarious.
“And of course, who can forget Neal Hefti’s theme music? “
When I was looking for an apartment in NYC about 20 years ago, a roommate matching service (which wound up doing nothing for me) used this as its hold music.
What in the world is the ME channel? the middle east?
Memorable Entertainment television.
Yeah, and when Felix took over, John Fiedler had the line, “Ummm, good sandwich. Not too much mayonaisse!” ( ... and Felix nods appreciatively. )
And who can forget “It’s not spaghetti, it’s linguini.” and “It was two weeks before I realized FU stood for Felix Unger.” ... and ah yes, the triple play, ... and so on.
