My zombie weapon of choice is a good medieval longsword. No reloading. Silent. ~Two~ sharp edges. Long reach. Penetration. Y’all can have your samurai swords... But with those you can’t zwerchhau back out of a zornhau back up to your vomtag, or ochs. No point in trying, really. :-)

And heavy as an anchor.
My choice would be a titanium crowbar, Katana or Roman Gladiator sword.

Not true. Even the longest of medieval longswords only weighed about three or three and and a half pounds. Lighter and quicker than a katana (which were always very blade-heavy), more cutting force than a gladius. Don't be fooled by the movies.

"Darn, the governor wants black tigerwoman who took his eye. She is some fighter!"

I'm hoping Rick will decide not to turn her over. This is terrible. She HAS earned her place, just as Herschel said.

I don't think I took a single breath that entire hour, LOL.

Thanks. All went well. However,I’m “Cooked”. I’ll have to join in next week. I did get home in time to watch. Another great episode in an overall good series.

Sorry folks, but this show is dying.

I loved the first 2.5 seasons, but since the return from break one episode after another has been slow, languorous, lethargic, tedious, boring, soporific, snooze-inducing ...

English lacks enough words to describe how a once great blend of action, drama, horror and suspense has essentially deflated into Caprica.

I had high hopes after last week's episode picked-up somewhat from previous offerings in this half-season. But tonight's was the worst of the year.

Anyone who thinks a show that features two guys sitting at a table talking to each other for -- what? Thirty out of forty four minutes? -- is good television has left the realm of discerning TV viewer and entered The Fanboi Zone.

Awful. D+ at best.

The Governor wanted her on the off chance Rick would be stupid and give up one of his best fighters.

Then the Gov would attack anyway while Rick’s group is feeling guilty and disorganized because of it.

“The Governor wanted her on the off chance Rick would be stupid and give up one of his best fighters.”

Plus, she’s the reason he only has one eye - I think he would take both her eyes before he killed her for revenge.

I’m not clear on something.

After Rick & co. returned to the prison, he told the group that the governor wants them dead, so prepare for war. Now, was he lying to them because he doesn’t want to tell them about the Michonne bargain, and therefore believes the governor will honor the part to leave them alone if he turns her over?

Or was he being straight with them because he understands that the governor would NOT honor the bargain and would kill them all anyway?

I can’t believe Rick would be naive enough to trust the guy....but then he did take a sip of that whiskey he was served, despite my yelling at him not to do so.

Based on what was said in the Talking Dead, it appears that Rick intentionally lied to the group to prepare them for the war that is coming. He doesn’t trust the Governor and believes that the Governor will try to kill them even if they hand over Michonne. For whatever reason, Rick seems to think that lying to them puts fear into the group and that will best help them to get ready for what’s coming. Also, Michonne is considered part of the family (group) now, so I don’t see Rick just handing her over.

I think the answer is in the last scene (I think it was the last) when Rick is talking to Herschel. Rick says he has to get the group in fear of their lives so they will agree to give up one of their own (meaning give up Michonne to save their own lives).

Sometimes, Rick needs a kick in the rear to make his brain function.

As soon as the Governor mentioned he might kill my son and baby that discussion would have ended with a bullet between the eyes.

Please add me to the ping list.

Maggie be looking good.

That's his new Stryker Strykezone and bolt package that Michonne picked up for him during last week's firearm shopping spree..........

What was wrong with his old crossbow? I was actually thinking about getting one.

Added!

And Andrea has some “loose lips” in order for the Governor to know all that stuff about Rick/Lori/Shane and baby Judith. I’d be pretty mad at her if I were Rick.

There was a little bit of trivia that flashed by last night during the Talking Dead after show. If I remember correctly, Normal Reedus got a black eye once or twice from the old crossbow somehow, so the writers concocted a way for him to get a new one. Apparently, Reedus had requested a dog for Daryl, but got the new crossbow instead.

Seriously? How does one get a black eye with a crossbow?

Merle would probably eat the dog so better to have a new crossbow.

:-)

The actor might have walked into a door with it or something. I need to watch the Talking Dead again to see what it said to be sure.

I agree with you on the dog! :-)

In the end,I don’t believe he’ll end up handing her over, either, but he may do some dithering before it’s all over (and yes, a kick in the rear will be in order, I suspect). I think Rick is essentially a good man, though, despite his problems. And I’m thankful Herschel is there to act as conscience.

two guys sitting at a table talking to each other for -- what?

It was a game of chess and it set the stage for what is to come......I was pretty satisfied with it.

And also consider that it gave Daryl and Martinez an opportunity to bond and even share a cigarette........they could become good buddies.

Did you happen to see that brief trailer on the Talking Dead where Andrea is with the doctor upstairs in a warehouse? That was pretty creepy......The guy on the Talking Dead said something to the effect that it looks like the Governor may have had a hobby in dentistry.....
