I long to be in Texas to taste these savory delicacies.

Funny!
I’m partial to Rudy’s in San Antonio.
Well come on down. We're just down the road a bit!
If these guys don’t know Zimmerhanzels in Smithville TX, they don’t know barbecue..........
I ALWAYS stop at Shoepf’s in Belton when going to Austin. It’s the real deal.
Angelo’s in Fort Worth
Love the smoke and the sauce !!
Ambiance is a classic too !!
None of them are in Houston. It’s like BBQ turned its back on the entire city. It’s horrible there
There are several good barbecue places in Southern California but most tend to be small ma & pa places and know to locals. Hoggs Gourmet Grill, Sweet Bob’s Bar B Que. Are near me. I don’t know if there is a connection but I have never been to a really good barbecue place that had wifi and latties.
Here is a good one:
Buzzie’s BBQ - 213 Schreiner St. Kerrville, TX 78028 | 830.257.4540

Next time I’m out in Riverside County, I’ll have to hit Moreno Valley around meal time.
Have you been to Baby Blue’s in Venice?
If you people don’t stop this, I’m going to have to visit Texas again! This is your last and final warning!
I don’t get out to Venice very often, but that looks like a place I should visit.
Many of the good barbecue joints in LA are history, and these include the Pit on south Broadway, Mr. Jim’s on south Vermont, and Greece’s on La Brea. However, Mom’s, a small joint on Imperial, just west of Vermont, is still going strong.
I know this is for Texas BBQ but the best BBQ I ever had was in Naples, Florida. A guy sets up his BBQ near a nursey on Imokolee and is only there Saturday and Sunday. A little bit of BBQ heaven.
