Best ‘79 Imapala, because it was a v8. Had great pick-up. Worst, probably my current Kia Spectra, 4 cylander, poor pick-up.

I had a 73 2 door back in 1982 (sr in hs). That car would really move, sadly it wasn't old enough to be a considered a classic then; many times I've wish that dad hadn't sold it.

Worst car: The one that broke down before I could sell it.

Best:
1984 Thunderbird. With Goodrich Comp T/A all weather radials on it, it went like a tank in the snow at Anzio and had tiger paws in the rain. Easily customized and lots of room for extra audio equipment. Big trunk for lots of bass.
Worst:
1979 Chevette. 'Nuff said. (Though it did look cool with the Cragar Mags and 60 series flats in the rear and the 70 series on the front RWL tires I put on it.

‘68 Barracuda. 318 automatic. Sporty and practical. Lots of room. I still think they look great. Would love to have another.

Best: 2004 Tundra 4 Door. The Lexus of Trucks.
Worst: 1974 Chevy Nova. The paint colors faded from tan to a light pink in varying degrees. Parts fell off (speedometer needle), etc. Clutches wore out every 20,000 miles, but my brother, sister and I were probably not very kind to them. :-)

Best: 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais. Hit 150,000 miles before the usual 50,000 mile repairs kicked in. Got to 225,000 miles before it started to fall apart.
Worst: 1972 Mazda RX-3. Replaced two engines because of water seals before I finally threw in the towel in 1980. The Dodge Omni with which I replaced it was no prize either.

Best - 2006 GTO. Man, was that car fun.
Worst - 1981 Gas Rabbit. I think it was broken for more days than it was running when new.

Best, 1970 429 Torino Cobra Jet, fast and solid as a rock.
Worst, 1980 El Camino, water leaks, side windows, firewall, from the bed into the cab, dealer could never solve water leak problems. Transmission went out twice under warranty, water jacket on engine even went to leaking, lemon+.
Second best, 1984 S-10, put 250,000 miles on it, think the only thing I changed was a water pump and alternator.
Second worst, 1968 GTO, constant overheat problems dealer could never solve and valves would begin to float at top end.

My 2009 Ford F-150 pick up is the best vehicle I’ve ever had, nicest riding too. V-8 and 21 MPG. Thanks to the GM bailout, or I never would have come across it. Worst was a chevette.

Best: 89 Park Avenue - Great mileage if I drove it like an old man, and lots of pickup when I didn't.
Worst: 72 Pinto w/automatic. - No pick up, even downhill. Went over a really rough railroad track way too fast, and it bent the unibody. We had to crawl out the windows, jack the car up in the middle and then jump up'n down on the bumpers until the doors would work. Then I sold it.

Best ; 1986 Chevy Sprint, stick, 45-50 mpg (with air cond)
Worst: 1976 Chevy Chevette, drive-shaft broke and dropped on ground, day after buying (new).
I can't believe that cars today are only averaging 30 mpg, when I could get that much YEARs ago! Used to drive the Sprint in Denver, in the mountains, plenty of zip, fun car to drive!
