Last nights Academy Award winning best actress Jennifer Lawrence discusses her fall while accepting her Oscar with a reporter who asked what she was thinking at that moment:
A bad word that I cant say...

If celebrities always were this honest and personable, I might actually watch crap like the Oscars...

She was also funny during Seth McFarlane, “boob” song. While all the ladies, when their names came up, winced, Jennifer Lawrence gave a little cheer when her name came up.
The nice thing about Jennifer Lawrence is that she gives the impression that she’d like nothing more to do in an evening is suck on a beer and put her feet up.
Very relatable.
She’s a peach.
She was definitely a Tom-Boy... looks weird to see her in that HUGH pink dress....
Because she's the only one named in the song who hasn't shown us her boobs.
I give this chick credit for being real.
I have been a huge fan since Winter’s Bone. She is a very skilled actress.
My 83 year old dad says he has dibs on her, so don’t ask her out.
For any new Jennifer Lawrence fans: Watch Hunger Games for a film that has all sorts of parallels with the current state of the US with an imperial President and an opulent and decadent Capital. The pros and cons of the film have been debated here on FR previously, but Hunger Games is well worth the time and shows the first hints of a rebellion by a population against a government that rules them rather than serves them.
Don’t we have rules anymore?
Her Mistique character was nothing more than body paint.
That was a funny interview!
If she is able to stay out of the clutches of the cinema-industrial complex and fly in like Newman and Streep did, then she has a chance to become a great and enduring actress.
IIRC the only want to have longevity and normalicy in that culture is to live elswehre.
Her work in Winter’s Bone is actually her best so far. Watch it, not a good time movie but a slice of difficult life and culture.
“Her Mistique character was nothing more than body paint.”
I am not sure, but that may have been more Rebecca Romijn.
Actually she had appliances over certain body parts, as did Rebecca Romijn when she played the role before Lawrence.
That was her mother sitting next to her at the Oscars...and I believe both parents were at the Golden Globes with her. And her mother was in the audience for her Kimmel appearance.
She apparently has two parents who are still together (always a plus), who are trying their best to watch over her.
I know she’s an adult and shouldn’t need supervision...but the problem in Hollywood is that all the ‘grown ups’ are really predators...so I applaud them. I hope she can stay grounded in reality.
