It truly is a horrific ailment. I pray they find a treatment soon to improve the lives of those who are born.
They might be wrong about the diagnosis. It might also be God’s will and you should not be circumventing that.

I worked with a couple who received such a diagnosis and the husband wanted to terminate and the wife refused.

We were faced with this situation. My wife got an amniocentesis. The genetic testing was fast and covered by our insurance. It was 100% accurate. If you are pre screened, that’s good. Get screened before you do something stupid.

There is no justification for murder regardless of the mental or physical state of the baby. If it is alright to kill the unborn for such a reason, why not kill a child who is already born or even an adult? Why even limit it to those born with such a condition? Why not extend it those who become physically or mentally disabled at a later time in their life?

Or is it IF we can learn to be thankful for what we have, and love the people who have been given to us as family?
