It is almost impossible for anyone with moral principles to participate in the entertainment field as they are blacklisted, and there are so few options to portray decency, clean story lines, uplifting plots and so on. “Touched by an Angel” was one such, and it was very popular.
If shows and movies that were uplifting and inspiring were being made in larger numbers, there would be plenty of work for principled actors and actresses, writers, directors and producers.
Unfortunatey, such is not the case. So if a principled actor or actress wants to work, they generally would have to work in a stew of immorality of all kinds. What good does that do for anyone?
Answer:
None. They just support the filth, unless they can make a stand for decency.
I have not watched this show so I have no personal knowledge of it. I have no TV and haven’t for decades.
Gays run the entire entertainment industry....and if you don’t spout the Party Line, good luck getting a role, or a record contract.
well, yes... some actually wear less than that... have you seen some modern-day bikinis? and if someone takes a pic and posts it on MySpace, there it is there on the internet... google the person's name under images and there they are... for all to see.. that is how many of Jessica's images got on the "internet." and i'm sure her photographers have also posted many of the pics themselves... it's not as though she takes a pic and says, "oh--now i am going to put it on google images for all to see..." haha!
bump
you make my point... those types of shows are not going to happen unless conservatives infiltrate the industry... terrorists know the value of infiltrating... liberals know the value--and they control the culture! conservatives as a whole instead, hole up in their ivory towers and look down at the maases--touching nobody... and so we lose... we lose our culture... we lose our country... we lose our freedome... but hey--at least we didn't associate with the gentiles... good for us!
Is a pretty strange name for West Virigy.
Hot and criminally stupid. What a shame.
I don't know why you say that part about holing up in ivory towers. Pretty broad generalizaion that I do not agree with. Your wish that conservatives infiltrate the entertainment industry is sort of like wishing that conservatives would infilitrat the main stream media. It's just not going to happen because both the entertainment world and the MSM are run by hardcore leftists and they have specifc agendas and messages they want to promote, and conservative and/or moral values are NOT what they want to promote. So any conservatives trying to infiltrate either group to change it will fail.
The only way to get a conservative and morally principled message out is for conservatives to start their own media/entertainment companies. There is no other way. You work for the (leftist/depraved) boss, you do what he tells you. It's that simple.
i diagree... that is not infiltrating at all... that's being separatist.. you'll only reach your own that way... big deal... ivory tower... yes--it can happen... not overnight... the libs didn't take over universities and charities and hospitals and government overnight... who better to go into the entertainment industry than hardcore conservatives and devout Christians? they would be going in the with the proper perspective...
when you infiltrate, there comes a day when YOU become the boss...
It won’t work. Why?
The reason leftists succeeded in worming their way in to the media, education, and government was because they had decadest to do it. It took 60 years. We don’t have 60 years to undo it.
And they will never, ever compromise or share power.
truth be told, you don't know how much time we have... you sound a lot like the liberal congress who didn't want us to drill for our own oil because ten years was too long to see results... that was over ten years ago...
the libs took less than 60 years to make an impact... they've been making an impact for decades... all along the way... and what do we do? we point out bad behavior, cut ourselves off from the culture and pretty much throw grapes at Jupiter... it's not working...
btw--i'm not talking about Christians and conservatives going to Hollywood to make Christian and conservative movies... i'm talking about Christians and conservatives going to Hollywood to make GOOD, QUALITY movies... to write good, quality books... to create good, quality art...
To quote the late talk show host Mark Scott. A is A.
My line of work (law) has a lot of dirty business, as much as the entertainment history. I've at times helped my best friend (a GOP higher up) in political work. That's the dirtiest business of all.
Does that mean I condone drugs, DUI'ing, cheating on spouses/longtime girlfriends, and the like? Nope. Have I done business with those who have? Yep. Does that mean I partake in those activities? No (at least in a long time and in the case of affair - never), and maybe not even the majority of people in the business.
We can control what we can control by our own individual actions we take and the best thing we can do is live by example.
hear, hear...
For someone who's so disgusted by this sort of thing, you sure seem to know an awful lot about it. I've never even heard of Miss Amin, or the show(s) she was on.
Its called news articles
Just because I keep an eye on the culture doesn’t mean I support it. Just because I hate the direction of this culture (down the drain) doesn’t mean I should ignore it until it hits me upside the head. You have to keep an eye on the enemy.
After I saw a TV ad for a disgusting “dating” website that seemed like prostitution (literally bidding on how much to pay a woman for a date) I had a short online chat with the owner.
This same guy, Brandn Wade, owns Sugar Daddy and other sites that push against good taste such as MissTravel where women can travel for “free” with men.
Somehow the guy thinks paying women for dates, finding a Sugar Daddy or goldigging at his ‘millionaire’ dating site is the same thing as match.com and other sites. Of course he is a bit biased, he’s making money off it as the pimp of the internet.
I was actually surprised he would find time to have a chat with me.
.....
At least he didn’t have the lameness to say that those opposed to these sites must be secretly for them. That kind of thinking is plain ridiculous. That is like saying all those Christians in church must be rooting for Satan on Sundays.
Good quality books/art/movies mean books/art/movies that uplift, inspire and help instill higher values and purpose in those who read/see/watch them.
Did I use the words “Christian” or “conservative”?
I mean non-degrading, non-sluttish, non-soft porn, non-mindless stupidity, etc.
One problem with this discussion is that you are throwing stones in an unreasonable way, making accusations of grape throwing [and I don’t know what on earth you mean], ivory towers, judging others and a host of odd criticisms that don’t appear to have anything to do with - well, anything.
All I’m saying is that if someone who values moral principles wants to made a difference in our country which is on a speed train to depravity and tyranny, working on TV and movies in degrading and mindless entertainmentis not a useful or productive way to go about making positive change. Why? Because everyone in charge there is a progressive/leftist/depravity promoter. Underlings serve the boss.
If people want to make books/art/movies/shows with uplifting, inspiring, moral messages, they’ll have to make their own projects*, not work on the crap others are making and hope to make a difference just with their winning personalities.
*And they WILL have an audience - many, many people are hungry for books/art/movies with uplifting messages and themes.
Give it up, friend. You go on and on about porn day and night on this site. Your obsession with the stuff is no secret.
