Still snowed in waiting for this kid to come and plow us out. Most of our neighbor's still snowed in a well.
Drifts about 6 feet in my yard.

rake the roofs for the fun of it I guess Of course, the roof rake didn't make it back to our house and they're predicting rain tomorrow!!
If that's the case, look for a lot of roofs to collapse from the weight.

I can relate. On December 26, 2010 I was in Belmar NJ. Snowed in for three days. We were naming the drifts by the shape they took.

Neat post, I remember about 1982 we were building a power dam in Revelstoke BC and they had the bunkhouses two high, I lived on the second level and I opened the window and dug a hole in the snow to keep the beer cold, as did most of the guys, true story. have fun out there LOL
