If that machine is real, whomever created it is a certifiable genius.

Yes, but can it sing?

That was amazing, but I suspect someone with arachnophobia may find the mechanical aspect a bit unsettling.

I can see this in the lobby of a Red Lobster perhaps.

Animusic has made these fakes befor to tout their 3D visualization software - check out “Pipe Dreams” or “Starship Groove” if you like this kind of thing. Personally I put it slightly above Beyonce fake-singing.

Now, what really IS impressive how Intel and a systems integrator actually produced a machine over 7 years ago to do what Animusic faked, and in only 3 months time. American exceptionalism at work!

If it is real, then it’s positively brilliant. A little creepy, though. Looks like it’s alive.

That is computer animation. There’s a whole series of videos with those types of “machines” making music. We used to run that program on our PBS station during pledge periods, selling DVDs of the videos.

Thanks for posting...I haven’t seen an Animusic in years...had forgotten all about them. The creator has the most wonderful imagination and ability to render things he conceives! Music is great, too.
