But this is presumably at some kind of firing range, right? Do they have those in DC? If this was a real photo would it have been taken in Virginia?
I just looked up the law for firearms. I have no idea whether this kind of rifle qualifies as an “assault firearm”, but the law says that in order to either sell or rent out an “assault firearm” (which I thought was one you don’t have to reload or re-cock or whatever every time you pull the trigger, which seems like what you’d want for sport shooting...), a dealer has to see proof of citizenship or valid permanent residency. IOW, a certified birth certificate.
Am I understanding this right? I warned you ahead of time that I don’t know much about this stuff. lol
