I wonder what's up?

This isn’t journalism. This is catty, juvenile, Libtard crap that wouldn’t be published in a high school paper. Some people never grow up.

I wonder what's up?

The Marxist shill MSM are terrified that Palin will run for President in 2016 and they need a full four years of degenerate lying and character assassination to get a traitor Rat to run against her.

If I see Sarah Jones walking the streets again, I'll mention to her that Palin did not take any privately owned firearms from anyone, contrary to the disingenuous manner her article is written.

That is only done by American Nazis, Communists and DemoRats.

Hope this clears things up. Low-information voters (and posters) might get confused....

The ASDF was a relic pre-statehood. Once Alaska became a state, the Alaska National Guard became the primary force; the ASDF was voluntary, ex-military — sort of like volunteer firefighters after a city has its own paid firefighters. The elderly commander was running the force as though it was his own enterprise: firing without cause, not enough training, no real organization. After a complaint was filed with the Governor’s office in 2007, an investigation was conducted by the state’s military and veterans affairs commissioner and concluded the ASDF had become a liability to the state especially if the state continued to issue weapons to this outfit. The commander resigned, and members bellyached.

“Lots of chatter on the left about Governor Palin lately.

I wonder what’s up?”

Obama’s job approval ratings have dropped below 50% according to Gallup.

Whenever Obama’s ratings drop, the LSM has to drag down others in an attempt to prop up Obama.

Thus the recent “chatter” about Palin,

When Obama is failin’, start smearing Palin.

Yep. Just another Palin hit piece. There were problems with the guy running it, it did work that could better be done by the National Guard, and it began to look like “a high liability risk to the state,” according to an article published at the time.

They (the media) have been trying to trot out stories of conservative icons, to justify their attack on the RKBA. They are telling the low information folks that their efforts are not unusual or unconstitutional as conservatives have done similar things. I was in an office the other day, and I heard a snippet from a CNN talking puppet that Reagan had said or done something similar.

“Pallin’ Around with Terrorists”: Palin’s Link to Militia Leader Charged With Conspiracy to Commit Murder

The surreptitious meeting between Fulton, Cox and Palin’s associates took place a scant six months before Palin was selected by John McCain to serve as his running mate on the GOP ticket. Cox, a supporter of Palin’s, was then a Republican candidate for the Alaska House of Representatives, District 7.

Did she actually disarm them of their own weapons, or refuse to fund civilians with state provided arms/money?

Be especially wary of leftists who cite research about “authoritarianism”. The concept of authoritarianism was touted much back in the early 50s into the early 60s and if you look at the description of the concept, it was basically a collection of perceived stereotypical attributes of someone different from the researcher. It received little support in actual studies—the evidence was modest, rare, and blown beyond its reality—and gradually the concept faded from legitimate research. To see it trotted out now, and to see it used in the old way, to trash human beings by creating a hateful stereotype of them, is beneath contempt.

Conservatives, close cousins to libertarians, are certainly not attracted to authoritarians—quite the contrary. However, a liberal who seeks to be cared for and protected by a big powerful government daddy, now that is a psychological phenomenon of considerable note.

“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

The founders feared a militia that might degenerate into an armed gang or that would take orders from a tyrant. “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” means that citizens needed to be armed to ensure that any militia was regulated and would not be used by the government against the people.

Sounds like Sarah did the right thing and understands the intent of the second amendment. She disarmed the 280 person militia, she did not take the arms of private citizens.

The conservative base can be seen as suffering from a desire to submit to an authoritarian who represents “traditional values”. The underlying theory is that the authoritarian personality has a weak ego unable to manage their id impulses. Alfred Adler proposed an alternative theory that power-over seekers are compensating for a feeling of inferiority, which might explain why Republican leaders are able to manipulate their base by stoking resentment of “liberal elitists”.

What a steaming, stinking load. Anybody on this board suffer from a desire to submit to an authoritarian of ANY sort? Anybody? Show of hands? That's what I thought.

Sarah Jones is a liberal idiot using pseudo psychology to explain away people who want actual freedom. Apparently that is a concept she is not capable of understanding.

It seemed to me that Sarah handled her rifle quite ably when she killed that large ungulate. But how could I judge; I’m not a liberal kvetcher babe straining a gut to make Gov. Palin look stupid and inept.

And they really are scared that the people will be alerted to Obama’s tyranny before it’s cemented.
