NBC News reports that a rifle used in the shooting and two pistols were legally purchased and registered to the gunman's mother, but Time Magazine was unable to find any firearms or weapons permit under Nancy Lanza's name.

It would not. A shotgun is great for shooting into a lock of a door, or to stop s moving vehicle. But, to kill lots of people, the ar-15 is a better tool.

The license plate seems to belong to a Christopher A Rodia, a felon seven times.
When the police check for a possible suspect, the name Rodia, Christopher A. is returned. This is on the police scanner. It is very easy to hear. I'll have to wait till FreeRepublic is working better to give the links I found earlier.
I first thought it may be about something else, but the license plate being checked is the same as that on the picture above in Yahoo news.

IMHO, conspiracies DO exist. And in this case, I don’t think they had anything to do with it, but I think that BeeHOe and his ‘people’ got on scene “fast and furious” and commandeered the “facts.”
I don’t think an AR15 was used. First reports said otherwise, but then the coroner came out with his fartgas about all kids killed with .223.

They certainly are lucky that Lanza is dead. otherwise he may have been able to provide more truth here. I believe a massacre happened, I just doubt much of the news coverage, and especially the demonic Obama regime.

At 1:39 an officer says “Connecticut 872 Y Yankee, E Echo, O Oscar, 872 YEO possible suspect vehicle.” (this is the license plate of the car of Nancy Lanza, the mother of Adam Lanza).
At 2:04 an officer with a deep voice, clearly NOT the officer that made the previous 872 YEO license plate report, says: “run the eh… operator, he’s a Florida license Connecticut as well, first name is Rodia, R-O-D-I-A, Christopher A. Date of birth is, eh…August 6th ’69.”
These are two separate officers making two separate requests of police dispatch — the first one asking for a license plate check for 872YEO and the second one asking for a check on a Drivers License.

The license plate is the one on the car that Adam Lanza used. There was no voice that came back and said it belonged to Nancy Lanza. The only return was the Rodia name. It is possible that these are two different events, but it is also possible the car did not belong to Lanza's mother, who supposedly had a BMW.
Since my government lied to me about 1) what happened in Benghazi and 2) "Fast and Furious", I don't necessarily believe anything they say. The police haven't said one why or another about the inconsistencies between the original stories and the later stories and it looks like the records were sealed by the courts in this incident.

2) Fast and Furious (also to be used in a gun confiscation plan)
3) illegal aide with sex offense record (working in a senator's office not picked up until after the elections)
and now they are using this school massacre not to protect our children, but to deny the citizens right to bear arms to defend ourselves and our children.
If we make mistakes because the press refuses to investigate, it's better than being spoon-fed stories by the administration's propaganda machine with the intent of disarming its citizen.
There are reasons the records are being sealed in this case. Maybe the records will be opened soon, after the administration gets as many gun laws passed as as they can.
