Some people (not me, of course) use Facebook to look up old flames from time to time.
They (not me, of course) do this not because they are trying to do anything inappropriate.
They (not me, of course) do this merely because they are curious about people who used to play an important role in their lives.
(And to see if these old flames have gained weight/lost their jobs/are dating losers now – I imagine.)
ANYWAY.
If you are one of these people (I am not) then you should be aware of a new Facebook feature that is potentially very embarrassing.
It is this: Facebook now keeps track of your search histories!
We found about it from HuffPo.
The good news is that the Web page/horror show is only available to you, when you are logged into your computer.

none of his works were worth the paper they were printed on. only had to read part of one (Tropic of Cancer) to know that garbage is still garbage even with a pretty binding
judging by the replies to your post, we now have to use the “</seinfeld>” tag when quoting from the show about nothing...
(not that there’s anything wrong with that)
I pretty much still am. And she’s still pretty much nuts, which is why I left her to begin with.
I have a dummy facebook account for that....
It’s kinda nice having a name that fifty or more others have in every small city I’ve lived in. And someone always says they know me from somewhere.
Naturally incognito.
I read somewhere that divorce lawyers list Facebook as the number one cause of divorce. High School reunions might be second.
According to my daughter I cant...
she was onto me again about dumb FaceAcheBook the other day...
I asked her how it would benefit me, improve my life ???
No qualified, reasonable answer as yet...
Itold her the people that have twitter and facebook spend so much time telling strangers about their every moment they have no time to make moments...
Actually there’s a lot about Facebook I enjoy. I.e., my nephew’s wife had a baby back on 12/20, three nieces had babies last October thru January. In each instance, I not only knew immediately that the baby was born, I saw their pictures! I see pix of great-nieces going to homecoming, kids’ first days of school, etc.,etc. Before FB, I might have gotten a photo or photo-newsletter at Christmas.
I keep my security high and number of ‘friends’ low. Don’t play their games. And never say anything controversial or political. When I want to do that, I come here!
“And never say anything controversial or political. When I want to do that, I come here!”
your right to do so...............but i ALWAYS say stuff that is controversial or political on facebook.
What are they gonna do, cut my hair off and send me to Nam ?
I just don’t think Facebook is the place for political discourse. I don’t want to read others’ opinions nor share mind there. For me, it’s about the kids, kids photos, etc. After the election I ‘unfriended’ a couple who were gloating. Just don’t need that.
Same thing here. Kids, nieces, nephews, cousins and all the rest. Makes it easy to see what they are up to and I can comment if I want. Like you, my friends count is extremely low.
“That rich guy you been seein’
must have put you down.
So, welcome back baby, to the poor side of town”.
I bet that jock that had his eye on that cheerleader who was 5’5” and weighed a bit over 100lbs is now weighing 220 with five kids. Something he might now want to see, conversely the same for the jock - 220 with a bald head.
That is very true! Just about every bad relationship (which, I admit some gave me guilt) I can see where their at now, and the karma is sweet.
I wasn’t her first guy, but I may very well have been her last!
(not that theres anything wrong with that)
I nearly used ArtVandalay as my FR username, but bowed out at the last minute.
Actual lol
LOL so true! :-)
Interesting.... thanks S & F
