After Kree had her pics taken coming home, got her roses, and greeted the small crowd —because they were an hour early—sweet Candice got off the plane and walked over to where the people were gathered amd walked the line. People loved her.
Angie stayed on the plane!

Stop the slink! I like her too. I like her humility, her ease in the songs, and her talent. To me, she is the best. She seems shy and a bit insecure when not performing, very polite and considerate. Then while singing, she just senses her way confidently and meaningfully through the emotion in the song. She makes it look effortless. Kree is very good, too, but I think Candace is better.
Keith is a mindless wussy. His wife* probably dons the black leather every night and beats him into submission with the cat o’ nine tails.
You have quite the point. She isn’t a scientologist, in fact tried in vain to get her kids out of that mess, right? But she strikes me as harsh and mean, and this little lisping country boy could NOT take her.

I will miss him. There is something about him that I like. I like his adorning habits even though he sometimes looks silly. Sailor outfits, red shoes. He is kind of cuddly looking. I bet having dinner with him could be amusing —— as long as politics don’t come up.

So glad Angie is out. I tried to just appreciate her talent, but she REALLY rubbed me the wrong way. I would say to myself, she’s pretty, she can sing well : why can’t I like her at all? She seemed very entitled. Her hair was so fake, tons of extensions under an already thick mane just looked like she had two giant rodents on her head. She was always searching for which camera was on and zeroing in on them more than any other performer. Her trip home, she didn’t really cry like the others out of overwhelming emotion at such an outpouring. Most of the time she seemed to act like this was all deserved by her. She teared up for one moment.
I think she was too enamoured of herself, especially for one so young. I think she assumed she would win.
I wish her the best and hope she grows into that ego. But I just don’t like her.

Yeah. I did not get that part of Jimmy’s criticism. I do NOT think Angie went home because her fans were prepared to love her, but then... She did NOT use a piano for an Elton John song! Beyond the pale!
I believe it was the voting of the non fans, those who aren’t super into a certain person, who felt they wanted to vote, and picked whom they liked the most. And Angie doesn’t connect. It’s not the back story. It’s that Kree and Candace, both very talented, also quite obviously seem like real, normal people. Angie seems phony. I felt that on the nights (the few) when the judges thought she was feeling the song, she was just better at faking the feel of the song. She was very interested in looking sexy, and that isn’t really sexy. Sexy is BEING sexy, not faking it.
But with that said, she is young, she could definitely turn things around for herself. She is really talented. But I could just tell she probably thought she would win the show. She probably NEEDED not to win, in order to grow past her self-absorption.
Time will tell.
To me, she’s one I will watch to see if she gets signed somewhere, and how she
does.
I think in the end this is Idols downfall. This year the obvious hyping went over the top , along with the ridiculous Minaj,
That type of drama can’t be done for a whole season.....
The Voice is heads above Idol at this point in terms of objectivity, and real
development of already great talent.
