The problem is we already know Smith is an A-hole, so when he makes an A-hole comment, it’s assumed to be a serious remark. And I see nothing here to indicate sarcasm, I see Shepard Smith badmouthing veterans and stockers. IOW, being the A-hole we know him to be.

Dittoes. There are several previous threads on this Walmart hiring Veterans report. And I’ve seen plenty of FReepers make this type of remark and worse. (Or better - depending on your personal POV)
I don’t like Sheep Smith. But I do like snarky comments. And his was snarky.
