Two deaf twin brothers in Belgium were euthanized by their doctor after realizing they were going blind and would be unable to see each other ever again, their physician says.
The 45-year-old men, whose names have not been made public, were legally put to death by lethal injection at the Brussels University Hospital in Jette, on Dec. 14.
The men, who were born deaf, had a cup of coffee and said goodbye to other family members before walking into hospital room together to die, their doctor told Belgian television station RTL.

Reminds me of a movie, with Jane Fonda, I believe; “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?”. People are not horses.

-——I prefer to think of it as friends aiding friends in an honorable act.-——
There is the ancient Japanese ritual of hari Kari for Samurai who could not bear the shame of defeat in battle...which was honorable...in that culture...
This is not honorable act at all....this is playing god...
One truly does wonder if God isn’t nearing “overtime” for just how evil man has become.
It’s relative. What you think is not honorable, others think is.
OK
Every one belives in the right to decide for them selves, but when it comes to the other guy they do not recognize the same right unless it is something they approve.
Just human nature, that is why we have a constitution, our founders knew the inconsistincies of men and they also knew how far the law could go.
If some one wants to stop living there is no law that can keep them alive but i have a lot more respect for those who do not involve some one else in their death.
Our founders no longer have any thing to do with it so i think it will be legalized in this nation and later on required.
Ok
Ok
For either the twins or the doctors who murdered them.

He must have been displeased when they were conceived, since He knew what was going to happen...God must be displeased with a lot of conceptions.
He must have been displeased when they were conceived, since He knew what was going to happen...
Maybe I'm being obtuse, but I don't understand the concept you are trying to convey.
I'll take a stab at it anyway...
The twins, and doctors have free will. The Lord did know what was going to happen, but the twins and doctors could have chosen a different path, in this alternative path, they are now still alive?
Help me out here, so I understand your post.

I have a problem with free will. Since God knows before hand what each of us is going to do and He cannot be wrong, people must do what He knows they will do. How can people do something other than that which God knows they will do?
Do you believe time travel is possible, stuartcr?

While it may be possible, I can’t say I believe in it. It’s not something I put much thought into.
