50th anniversary! How many of y’all feel old?

I was just under voting age when Kennedy ran in 1960 so I didn't have the opportunity to vote against him. Nevertheless, I campaigned and worked hard to get Richard Nixon elected. Nixon had not yet gone soft was still a fearless fighter against the commies. It's now clear that the presidential election was stolen by Jack Kennedy and his corrupt crowd -- his booze-running father and the Chicago machine. The Nixon of 1968 was far from the reliable Conservative of eight years earlier.

It was a hugely crucial election and I wonder how different things would have been had the election not be stolen
