The film adaptation of the best-selling book series "Fifty Shades of Grey" still does not have a screenplay. But according to one source, there is only one possible rating the movie will receive.
"It will be rated NC-17. It will be raunchy," screenwriter Kelly Marcel told U.K. newspaper The Sunday Times.
"We are 100 percent going there."

They won’t go there. There’s major chains that won’t even carry it, not to mention stores that won’t sell the DVD. Major revenue loss if they get an NC-17. Maybe the first pass will, but they’ll edit it, it will release with an R.

Here we go. The PR people for this trash are starting to leak how “edgy” and “close to the line” it is as a way to gin up ticket sales. But the bottom line is that this is not “cutting edge” or “pushing the envelope” or whatever other words Hollywood uses to try to make itself look lie the leading edge of the 60s Revolution — this is simply porn for people who can’t bring themselves to buy an XXX video at the adult book store. Its pathetic.

Yes, a book on dysfunctional relationships started out as fan fiction on yet ANOTHER dysfucntional relationship.
