Rob Parker, the commentator who created controversy when he questioned whether Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is a cornball brother because he has a white fiancee, has been fired by ESPN.
(snip)
So why did Parkers discipline change from a 30-day suspension to termination? ESPN isnt saying, but it may be that the network was unhappy with a recent interview Parker gave in which he said that ESPN knew what he was going to say on the air before he said it. In that interview, Parker also seemed to backtrack on his previous apology, complaining that people took his cornball brother statement out of context.

Maybe he confused him with Cornbread Maxwell.
I've been very impressed with a 3 rookie QB senstaions this year. They all seem to be cut from very high quality cloth. Alfred Morris is the Skins rookie Running Back machine...he's cut from the same cloth.

Why that's racist and justifies Negro Rage, doncha know?
I had not herd it either, but you can read about it: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=cornball+brother
Cornball is just this particular race baitor’s version of “uncle Tom.”
RG III is simply not toeing the racially correct line.
Thank you, hard to keep up with all the Ebonics perculating through our language.
According to one report I’ve seen, Griffin will probably be out for 9-12 months after surgery. That would mean he’d at least miss training camp and the pre-season, if not the entire 2013 regular season.
Near as I can tell, Russell Wilson doesn’t toe the race-hustlers’ line either. How did he manage to pass under their radar?
If there’s anything from which to take heart, it’s that Adrian Peterson missed only one game (the last game of 2011) after his similar injury, also on the Redskins’ field.
Of course, Adrian Peterson borders on the superhuman so I wonder if anyone can recover as quickly as he did.
I knew a guy named Cornbread Red..he was a honkey tho.
What a shame... /S
What were the idiots at ESPN thinking to begin with, hiring a “blackness commentator?” Pretty sure the fans don’t care what color skin an athlete has, just what color uniform they wear.
