Notice how those around her go stiff pretending not to notice her. That’s how society has been programmed.
She’s the rare one who has broken out of the programming.
My husband and I were at Panera Bread for lunch last weekend. There was something a bit Arabic-themed playing over the PA, and two little boys, about 5 and 3, were doing belly-dance moves while their mother drank coffee and putzed with her cellphone.
Maybe the boys thought it was hula ... but I used to be a belly dancer, and the older boy had some technique.

That’s probably because they are wondering what kind of outrage is coming following an innocent dance interlude. I don’t blame them. She is just doing this for attention, IMO.
And I say this as a woman who dances around the house quite frequently and occasionally sneaks in a few steps in the grocery store when a good number comes on the sound system.
