I’m going in Thursday for an x-ray and a visit with my doc…it seems I’m having pain in places and at times when I shouldn’t. I might have hurt my back by picking up a glass bowl out of the oven while bending over. I was told (2 weeks after I had already done it) not to put myself in that position
Good news, God is so good to me. I have had help to pay the ticket I received and I still have enough to get my tags. The only issue now is getting insurance on the car which I have to do before they will allow me to get the new tags. The last time I checked, my insurance would be about $730 for 6 months. Since I am no longer working, I know I won't be able to get that. Prayers that God will provide would be appreciated. Prayer warriors have always been such a blessing, and I appreciate each and every one of you.
I was told as soon as the doc releases me from restrictions, the service I use to get work will be able to find me another job very soon....so prayers for healing are at the top of the list. I need work, I need recovery, I need healing, I need help financially.
I pray you all have the most blessed and happy New Year. I pray that 2013 is better for us all than 2012 was. (Even if 2012 was good, I pray 2013 is better).

I understand your sentiment...but I still have to get groceries, meds, blood drawn because I’m on thinners from the clots in both lungs in January, get to church and get my children to their things....NOT driving is a hard situation to deal with.

At this point, I no longer bend (almost at all). My son puts my socks on for me, I use a long handled grabber for nearly everything else. If it won’t work, I have 2 children who are the most helpful children in the world. If they aren’t home, we have one dog that thinks everything is edible and will pick it up and I can get it from him.
I’m so sorry to hear you have constant pain and will keep you in my prayers. Mine wasn’t chiropractic reachable...collapsed disc that was treated for over a year with no results.

I don’t get physical therapy, and I did push myself on the work issue. I started a job 2 weeks after the surgery. I have been looking for over 2 years and wanted to work more than anything! The YMCA is the only pool and I don’t have a membership, so I can’t do that. I walk and do the exercises that were recommended, but the pain just keeps getting worse. I pray for comfort and I pray that I can get another job soon so I can pay my landlord.

Apparently fell during the night and was there for hours and hours and hours. Couldn't move, couldn't make it to the bathroom. She was awake, nothing broken but too weak to get up and very cold.
Ambulance called and MIL insisted on being cleaned before the ambulance arrived.
I was directed by panicky wife to lift MIL to get her to the bathroom to be cleaned and while doing so, heard a loud “POP,” felt a sharp stabbing pain in the lower back and saw stars. . .and collapsed.
The 911 operator then asked: “Should I dispatch another ambulance, sir?”
Tomorrow I see the back doc as it isn't getting any better and makes sleeping difficult.
MIL just out of ICU and in rehab and may not make it. This is a difficult time, as she is my MIL and she did live with us for 9-yrs.

Please don’t apologize...sounds like your situation is in a mess right now and I will keep you all in my prayers.
I pray they are able to make your back feel better without having to have surgery!! I will also be keeping your MIL in my prayers, that she recovers and gets to go home in very good condition.
