I’m going in Thursday for an x-ray and a visit with my doc…it seems I’m having pain in places and at times when I shouldn’t. I might have hurt my back by picking up a glass bowl out of the oven while bending over. I was told (2 weeks after I had already done it) not to put myself in that position
Good news, God is so good to me. I have had help to pay the ticket I received and I still have enough to get my tags. The only issue now is getting insurance on the car which I have to do before they will allow me to get the new tags. The last time I checked, my insurance would be about $730 for 6 months. Since I am no longer working, I know I won't be able to get that. Prayers that God will provide would be appreciated. Prayer warriors have always been such a blessing, and I appreciate each and every one of you.
I was told as soon as the doc releases me from restrictions, the service I use to get work will be able to find me another job very soon....so prayers for healing are at the top of the list. I need work, I need recovery, I need healing, I need help financially.
I pray you all have the most blessed and happy New Year. I pray that 2013 is better for us all than 2012 was. (Even if 2012 was good, I pray 2013 is better).

I had MAJOR back surgery 3 months ago. I it is a tough recovery, but I am doing better.

Hey be careful! God may not want you to drive if you are in that much of a weakened state! You could get hurt worse.
I always put tests like that before God, if it is his will- you will find the money on the sidewalk- or in a surprise check from the government.
Otherwise our Lord may be telling you to stay home and rest.

I’ve had back problems for twenty or so years. I’m told pinched nerve, it comes and goes. First time, all I was doing was picking up a dropped stamp. I started falling down and kept going, rolled over on my back ,and had tears form instantly (that ice pick jab).
Chiropractor had immediate results, but like I said, it comes and goes, and I no longer bend at the waist to pick up anything.

Pryers for you, T. And patience. HAving done the back surgery years ago and fully recovered. But I’ve seen others where people try to push themselves too soon and end up right back where they started.(The oven incident was a warning) Bottom line...don’t push yourself too hard on the job front or feel obligated to jump right on in with any form of heavier work..even sitting for long periods of time. Pay attention to your doc, DO the physical therapy...if you have access to a pool, try walking back and forth in shallow water (this more than anything else, helped my recovery). I pray for longterm healing and pain relief. The funds will come...and the work will come, too. I wish you well.
Msy HE find favor in your needs and bless you in your health needs, concerning your back and in your financial needs. You please HIM by being willing to ask. Like Jesus said so long ago, you receive not because you do not ask. Hang in there.

My prayers are with you. I have recently developed some back problems and know the feeling.
I don’t know if mine is considered MAJOR or not. They removed a disc, replaced it with a spacer and fused it with rods and screws. Is that considered Major?
