Eye and hair color of our Freepers??

Posted on 01/01/2013 5:54:55 AM PST by Lazamataz

I have wondered what the eye and hair color the various Freepers have. I know by reading stories on here that we have people who have black hair and black eyes, all the way to bald albinos. Obviously, don't post your eye and hair color if you do not want to, but I just thought it would be interesting to see our pigmentation spans. I am 42.

Not this girl. On a serious note, I took myself “off the market” about 4 years ago.

I am going the way Jesus said to for single women and widows.

I SO don’t belong in this society....or perhaps just this state.

I decided on South Carolina (was thinking Texas). Now trying to formulate a plan to get there.

Laz, was too early to count you out. Read this. Neck of woods type of thing.

Neck of the woods type of thing? Are you saying there are still men out there who’d like a somewhat normal girl w/ morals who won’t put out, as expected?

Last date ended w/ a full hand face palm w/ an aggressive “what the eff are you doing”.

That was the end of my dating days.

A fine state, South Carolina is, although we North Carolinians have had our differences with them over the centuries.

The Low Country is nice for a visit or even a second home, but for a full time residence I’d prefer the Upstate myself. The so-called “hot belt” of the Low Country and Midlands is little known outside the Carolinas and Georgia, you’d have to live through a summer in it to understand. Daytime high temps consistently right at or above a hundred degrees with very high humidity, it’s brutal. You escape that Upstate.

One of the nicer small communities in the foothills or even on into the beginnings of mountainous, near NC and GA, can be quite nice, mild climate, little snowfall but they can and do get it occasionally, waterfalls and lakes galore.

For your city needs, Greenville is nice enough and would have much of what you’d want from a city, fairly close by but it’s smallish. Two hours would have you in Charlotte, much larger. Three or so, Atlanta, larger still.

But, you’d be blissfully shut off from all that if you wanted or needed to be.

One thing to consider, though, would be proximity to Asheville, NC. It’s a beautiful small city, growing, very artsy verging upon Bohemian if you get my drift. It’s drawn counterculture and leftist types by the drove and it’s influence is spreading, turning historically Republican NC mountain counties blue. I love the place, don’t mind hippies at all, but being subject to their politics would not be something I would enjoy.

Not able to speak for Laz, but believe Laz to be a really nice guy. As for me, am out of the realm of attainability because my spouse would kill me. I believe you to be a nice lady. Never say never, or the end is the end. Strive for attainment of the elusive butterfly whose name is love. For love has launched ships and armies. Love is the fine line of the razor’s edge one or two people ride while sliding toward the pool of alcohol. There will be a lot of screaming going on but who cares. Love is worth the pain.

Haven’t you read the rules? You must be blue eyed and blond to be a member of FR. Either that, or not.

Hair is very dark brown.

Eyes are battleship gray.

Skin is fish-belly-white (two Irish parents.)

I can look very scary when I wish.

My nieces told their friends I was a Goth. I corrected them and told them I was a headbanger. Daggone little punks need to learn the rules.

Brown hair with red overtones, heavily red in summer if I stay out in the sun too much.
Brown eyes.

Sun freckles across the bridge of my nose, again only if I stay out in the sun too much.

And an Undead Thread ping out for a thread by our friend Laz.

My Aunt & Uncle moved to NC. I did take it into consideration. They would have loved to house me so I could find a job and place to live.

Unfortunately, as you have stated, a lot of the NE libs have moved there and turned it purple/blue.

When you say you prefer the Upstate, do you mean SC or NY? Upstate NY, especially in farming country is totally different than here in the suburbs. My cousin lives there. we went up for Labor Day.

Look up redneck in the dictionary and you will see my cousins face posted....w/ a big smile! He wants me to purchase my Aunt & Uncles home (his mom and step dad), which is across the “street” from him.

I LOVED it up there. Completely different way of life, in which would suit me. However, it would still be NY and I want out.

“For your city needs,”.....I have NO desire for city needs. I am a suburb gal. I hate cities. Too many people, too much noise, no privacy, etc.

I decided on SC because it’s weather is somewhat comparable to NY. I’m used to the hot heat and humidity (I HATE it, but AC is my bff in the summer).

“One thing to consider, though, would be proximity to Asheville, NC. It’s a beautiful small city, growing, very artsy verging upon Bohemian if you get my drift”

I get it and ewwww. That is what I am trying to escape. “but being subject to their politics would not be something I would enjoy.”.

Exactly what I am trying to escape. No point in moving to Satans armpit from it’s groin!

Ping addendum: Laz made this thread because of this thread here.

Shall we assist Laz is knocking his thread post total through the roof?
Shall we bring crushing humiliation to all challengers?
Shall we wander the hallways dragging chains and moan all night right before the big test?

Sure, why not?
