I plan on being abstemious tonight.

I heard a quote yesterday, that we tend to be abstemious between Christmas and New Year’s Day when we should really be paying more attention between New Year’s Day and Christmas.
I do NOT plan on being abstemious. If God wanted us to be thin, he wouldn’t have given us chocolate and sugar. Hmmmmm. Maybe Eve was not tempted by an apple — maybe it was chocolate. Happy New Year, All.
I regret that I was not abstentious during the holiday season.

Had I been a bit more abstemious with the Christmas treats and sweets my waistline would now be somewhat less prominent.
