It is so stupid that these teams have to wait so long to play this game. How can they possibly be at there best without playing under live game conditions. They need a playoff system. Once again, money rules the roost!

The long lay off has seemed to help the SEC. The SEC has a championship games, so they have a extra week of experience and play before the National Championship game. It will be interesting.

Have to go with ND simply because of the SEC/ESPN lovefest. The backlash is growing.

I’m probably in the minority, but I wish for a return to the bowl system. Each bowl has its own heritage and traditions, and they shouldn’t be reduced to mere playoffs. Let the sports writers and the coaches pick the national champions.

I agree with ESPN’s Mark May about the playoffs. He has no love for the current BCS but states that people are going to like the replacement even less.

Backlash, my a**. If you want to stop the “lovefest”, beat an SEC team in a BCS title game.

In order for any team to be allowed to play in the BCS title game it should have proved its competence by beating a SEC team during the regular season. ;)

Hey, don’t ruin our secret plan. We figure if the SEC wins another BCS championship, the rest of the country will kick states with an SEC team out of the nation. Instant secession without a fight!

I hope and pray that Bama kicks their Obama-loving ass. It’s hard to have any respect for an institution that’s turns it’s back on its own faith. Father Jenkins is a disgrace to all good Catholics.

The irony of that t-shirt is the fact that there are probably as many or more mobile homes in Indiana than there are in Bama.

Rooooollll Tidddddde!
Terry Saben was right. The pressure to win almost overcomes the “Joy of Victory”. There are prolly as many “Barners” (Auburn fans), as Notre Dame fans hoping for a victory.
