I think it’s pretty standard for bars not to allow firearms - at least in Connecticut (kind of why they normally don’t serve alcohol at gun ranges). Buffalo Wild Wings is a bar - so that might be the issue.

That's part of Texas CCW law - you don't carry into an establishment that makes more than 50% of their income from the consumption of alcohol.
Meaning I can carry into a liqueur store, but not into a bar.

Open carry, or concealed = A 'ok in VA so long as the owner hasn't posted a sign and you don't drink ANY alcohol while carrying.
