Didn't think it would happen, but it's actually snowing in Dallas. Maybe someone can post up a pic or two.
Dang windstorm filled my side yard with lemons.
These lemons are a pain in the ass.
nice
I bought an older snowmachine and trailer last month up here in Wasilla, Alaska.
last week we had a good 10 inches plus of snow and then we had days and days of high winds, blew it all away, now there is almost no snow cover and mostly dirt plus its warmed up above freezing.
last year we broke snowfall records, maybe if I buy something anti-snow like another motorcycle then maybe it will snow.
Well, it’s cute anyway. We got only about 4-5 inches on Thursday, and none since. It’s stayed though. I can just imagine all those folks in Dallas scrambling around in the snow, slippin’ and slidin’.
We lived in Houston for nearly 10 years and had one memorable snow — when the kids were heading back to college after Christmas break. My son actually had his ice scraper stolen out of his car in Waco when he stopped for the night to stay with his sister on his way back to Lubbock (where they actually used ice scrapers from time to time.)
We thought it was pretty funny: Waco, home of Baylor University and full of Bible believin’ Baptists actually had somebody who would steal an ice scraper from a poor traveler! How Christian is that?
Nothing else taken — just the ice scraper.
I think seasons are a good idea. lol.
Dang, I wonder what area of town that pic is from? I’m in the north-west area of town, and we’re not getting anything like that!
It’s still coming down, though. Be interesting to see how much accumulates by day’s end.
I lived in the Houston Area for 20 years. I was always told that if God had intended Texans to ski he’d made cow sh** white!
Well, it was what other Texans told me!
I’ve never heard of lemons being used as depositories.
“Lomesh Photography”, huh? LOL
I didn't know we had Freepers in Siberia! Kewl!
Heavy snow just north of Dallas county here. Sticking a little. Makes for a nostalgic and temporary reminder of our former home in Connecticut... God Bless Texas and Merry Christmas all FReepers!
Is that a wild turkey, or a pea hen strolling amongst your lemons?
Those lemons look like the basis for dozens of lemon chiffon pies. I’d make a couple for you, if I were there. Or, you could squeeze them and clean a lot of pennies with the juice.
is that from today?
Yes, I posted it just a few minutes ago.
You’ll note that people from Wisconsin don’t rush to post snow pictures! LOL. Glad they are having fun with it in Dallas. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
LOL! Merry Christmas, Theoria.
wow.
BTW, it seems to have started to stick now
