Father Christmas in Army Jeep, 1941

“The panzer “Santa”, with well-filled sack of radios, books, cookies, and other gifts dear to soldiers hearts, glides up to the door of the barracks in Camp Lee’s Quartermaster Corps and it isn’t hampered by lack of snow in Virginia. Camp Lee, Virginia, Quartermaster Replacement Center”

That looks like a Bantam jeep or possibly a very early MB.

Great pics.

I have a very early 1941 Willys MB and an early Ford GPW (Ford built them as well). Lots of fun. Would love to have a Willys MA ... but those are so rare they are pushing 80k+! Love the early CJ’s as well.

Camp Lee is now Fort Lee; it’s near Petersburg VA, and still a busy Army installation.

Merry Christmas to all of you and your families, and a special greeting to all our military!
