A committee at Florida's Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has reviewed more than 1,800 vanity plate requests in the last 10 years. The ones that get rejected often have objectionable language, sexual innuendo and more. Sometimes, harmless ones -- like G8R H8R -- don't make the cut either. “G8R-H8R”
Hey, that's clever.
“Gator Hater” for those unfamiliar with the in-state rivalries between UF (Florida Gators), FSU, and Miami.
This vanity plate could only have been rejected by some loser from FSU (the “Seminoles” for alumni, the “Crimi-noles” for the rest of us).
Later, Gator!

I suspect they didn’t want to get involved in a religious dispute.

I once knew a guy that had “KINKY” on his motorcycle plate. Yes, he was kinky. Also years ago saw a ford country squire station-wagon with the plate “BONDAGE”.

I once saw a Jaguar with a plate that said “WANKER” (in PA).
Appropriate, I’d say.

In Illinois I saw a sports car with a plate that said PRIAPUS. The driver was speeding and giving another driver the finger.

Years ago I saw a car with Virginia plates “4SKINS”. I didn’t see any Redskins stickers. Guy was probably a mohel.

You gotta admire the artwork in the center of the plate as well.

My personal favorite was:
4NIC8. Here in Va. we can get custom pates taht have various pictures etc.. One of them in suppport of a the Pro life movement has "Kids First" in big blue letters at the bottom. One enterptrising young man had custom plate:
EAT THE
KIDS FIRST
The state later forced him to surrender it.

Funny. I saw Kinky at the Jazz Hall of fame in Tulsa a few weeks ago. He is on tour, was heading to Denver.

Years ago, a neighbor had a plate INYOAZZ. How the DMV missed that one is beyond me.
