The Long Island mother of Kansas City Chiefs football player Jovan Belcher told investigators her son argued with his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins over their baby’s paternity before he shot her dead and killed himself, The Post has learned. Cheryl Shepherd — who was in her son’s suburban Missouri home the morning he shot Perkins nine times — told investigators after the shootings that there were questions about whether the West Babylon, LI-raised linebacker was the father of the couple’s 3-month-old daughter, Zoey, said sources familiar with the situation.

His blowing her away was not understandable under any circumstances, and YOU don’t even know what happened.
Are we to believe this guy wasn’t on the make with other women?? PUHLEASE. He was with another woman that very night, before “blowing her away”.

i’m surprised the observation of Father’s Day hasn’t been outlawed. It has to be very confusing to the black community.
I didn't say it was excusable, I said it was understandable. Also, my statement was "If she had...then...". I was putting out a possible scenario, not making any claims that this was what happened.
She was dealing with a high-testosterone guy, from a culture which reacts violently to "disrespect". And cuckolding a guy is pretty high on the "disrespect" scale.
The sportsmen-ship and fun of the game ended in the 70’s - now it's ‘thug time’ with paid professional goons. Why not let the NFL recruit directly out of the prison system and stop the pretense of football being a sport?

For decades the NFL has let its players act like thugs, gangsters and bullies. I’ve watched as players get caught breaking the law and are given slaps on the wrist and let off on miserable excuses.
So now these guys are violent and acting like they can get away with anything and everyone is shocked.
But take heart. They’ve found the problem. The problem is you hicks in flyover country - with your guns and Tea Party values.
You people are untrustworthy and the only solution is to make laws cracking down on you.
