I didn't say it was excusable, I said it was understandable. Also, my statement was "If she had...then...". I was putting out a possible scenario, not making any claims that this was what happened.
She was dealing with a high-testosterone guy, from a culture which reacts violently to "disrespect". And cuckolding a guy is pretty high on the "disrespect" scale.
