My daughter always wanted one because the neighbor had one. She never got one. So when she had her little girl, she bought one.

In the meantime, her younger son was already baking cakes in the real oven.

Easy bake oven was just plain stupid. My daughter learned. Doubt if her granddaughter will ever get one.

Beat me to it. I had mine using a real kitchen knife at 3, was flipping crepes at 5 and was able to put out entire the Thanksgiving spread at 12 the year I was too sick to get out of bed.
