It took several hours for them to find me and get me to the big house and then to the hospital. I was in and out for most of that... passing out is a gift from a merciful God.

When I woke up a couple of days later in the hospital... I was a little disappointed. One of my uncles compared my reaction to that of the squirrel in "Ice Age" when he gets yanked back from Heaven.

I guess I'll have something I'm supposed to do until I get a rinse and repeat.

A clue would be nice.

Then you were so lucky.

I thought it gorgeous, and saw a scene recently in NJ similiar to it, in Bernardsville.

It is sold as a card if you would like:

I was very very blessed as a child, growing up there, having the family I did.

God’s been good to me...whether I *see* it or not.

I’ll go look at the cards. Thank you!

Merry Christmas BG!

All my life CHRISTMAS does indeed celebrate the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ.

No matter what our government may propose, CHRISTMAS is indeed the day we recognize as Our Savior’s birth.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, BG! I pray Our Lord Jesus Christ honors you and your family as we approach Dec. 25th and honor Him.

I also pray that He will indeed protect and guide our troops wherever they may be stationed.

As a retired plumber, I recognize the piping system. A few changes should be made but, with my experience, I can only wish you A Very Merry Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, JoeProBono and also to your family!

One Solitary Life

He was born in an obscure village, the son of a peasant woman.

He grew up in another village, where he worked in a carpenter’s shop until he was thirty. Then for three years he became a wandering preacher.

He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He never had a family or owned a house. He didn’t go to college. He never visited a big city. He never travelled two hundred miles from the place where he was born. He did none of those things one usually associates with greatness.

He had no credentials but himself.

He was only thirty-three when the tide of public opinion turned against him. His friends ran away. He was turned over to his enemies and went through a mockery of a trial. He was executed by the state. While he was dying, his executioners gambled for his clothing, the only property he had on earth. When he was dead he was laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend.

Twenty centuries have come and gone, and today he is the central figure of the human race and the leader of mankind’s progress. All the armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all the parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever reigned, put together, have not affected the life of man on this earth as much as that One Solitary Life.

Merry CHRISTmas to all Freepers. Despite the sad outcome in our nation, I’ve decked out the tree like never before and am using up all our stored decorations. They can’t take Christ away from us. They are trying but He is ours. He is with us in this struggle and we honor His birth. May you all have a truly Blessed CHRISTmas and if it be God’s will, a Happy New Year. I pray more people will have their eyes opened and see the signs of the times and prepare.

Two thousand years later inspite of centuries of hatred, lies against him and murders of his believers, this solitary life still has an impact on those who hate him and those of us who believe in him.

Merry Christmas!
