From the article: By all accounts, the past month has been most difficult on Romney's wife, Ann, who friends said believed up until the end that ascending to the White House was their destiny. They said she has been crying in private and trying to get back to riding her horses.

Yup...the White Horse prophesy failed White Horse Prophecy [Mitt's Loss brings obvious conclusion that Mormon leaders falsely prophesied]

Perhaps disillusionment in Lds prophecy has set in.

From the article: Few of the policy ideas he promoted are even being discussed in Washington.

The defeated Republican nominee has practically disappeared from public view since his loss

Good. Let him stay gone. The GOP-E loved him so much, though, that they're idiotic enough to bring him back. Please just let him go away and remain unheard from.

He was a terrible candidate. I'm still smiling, though, at how shocked all his FoxNews Shills were.

Threads like this must make the drooling libs on DU laugh their a$$es off.

With each passing day, I am more convinced that the voters in this country, including many so called conservatives, truly deserve another 4 stinking years of Obama.

As we go through these tough times, I wish the best to those who voted for “love of country”, and the very worst for the others - those that helped to give us Obama and more damn democrats in power.

I am completely convinced that regardless of whom the republican candidates might be, if Clinton runs, she will win. Heck, considering the electorate of BOTH sides, even Michelle might have a very good chance of claiming the White House.

We now have the most ignorant electorate in the history of American elections. I believe we have the most corrupt government and media our country has ever seen. In any case, Americans got the country it apparently wanted and a country it so richly deserves.

I was for Newt during the primary. I voted for Romney in the general and if our choices were the same tomorrow (Romney vs Obama), I would vote for him again. I would have voted for a can of soup over that white hating, country wrecking, lying and arrogant black bastard son of a communist whore, Obama.

Now for those that didn’t support our country and contributed to the Obama win, you may kiss my white backside. Some apparently take great delight over the Romney loss, but they can’t honestly do that without, at least tacitly, celebrating Obama’s win. Again, Americans got the country it apparently wanted and a country it so richly deserves.

As for what Romney is doing these days, I can’t seem to care. He certainly doesn’t need to make a living, so he is likely enjoying life — and that is good.

Will a perfect man run for president in 2016? I sure hope not, the last perfect man was Nailed to a Cross.

Cheers.......

Yeah, sure is awesome that Mitt’s “prophecy” was wrong. Now we get to endure and try to survive four more years of an economic retard.

Man, that is GREAT.
(off sarcasm)

Only a moron would be glad Romney lost.

The talented Mr. Romney will do fine.

The irony is that the Obama voter seeking revenge will drive the rich into non investment and foreign hiding places. Meanwhile the low information community will have to contend with less wealth for distribution.

Silver lining. Had he won, the current Romney haters would have subjected us to two daily threads here:

1. Day in the Life of President Romney. (Accompanied by cheesey pictures.)

2. Pray for President Romney (accompanied by lame pages long Babble quotes cut and pasted from Holy Roller portals.)

No, this is untrue. Closing loopholes, lower rates, etc. are all part of the deal being discussed.

Ryan is in there as a negotiator. His ideas were part of Mitt's platform and much of the platform is classic conservative philosophy.

It's a shame that so many conservatives buy into the MSM "slam the GOP" tactics. They claim to be wise to the MSM but fall for the ruse every time.

You’d think somebody in the Republican Party would have the stones to act like an “opposition party”....

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Please Mitt, go crawl off somewhere and do not show your two-faced lying liberal a$$ again.

Impeach the kenyan or secession.
