"The Walking Dead': Meet Milton! ...Dallas Roberts talks about his mysterious character. The midseason finale of The Walking Dead airs tonight, wrapping up an eight-episode sequence that introduced viewers to the wonderful and terrifying community known as Woodbury, a lovable all-American town with some deep dark secrets. Most of those secrets involve Milton, a bespectacled mystery man played by Dallas Roberts who is performing experiments on the undead. We got a look at one of those experiments last week, although its still unclear what the ultimate purpose of Miltons work is. (Probably nefarious.) In a video interview with EW, Roberts himself offers some stray thoughts about the character. We couldnt get him to say definitively that someone will die in the midseason finale. But presumably, there will be zombies.} .......Video interveiw...

I really appreciate the fair treatment the makers give to redneck Daryl.

I really appreciate the fair treatment the makers give to redneck Daryl.I'm wondering about what the reunion with brother Merle is going to be like. Merle seems the same; but, I think Daryl has changed -- in a good way. I also think that Daryl has related to Rick as a brother, so, where will his loyalties lie?
To: LibertarianLiz
I think Merle’s days are numbered no matter what. The governor is pretty suspicious of him now.

The Governor is kind of suspicious of everyone who isn’t in Woodbury. If they are going to follow the book, then the Guv’s days are also numbered. Then again, in a zombie apocalypse, aren’t everybody’s days numbered?

That's only because they can live out their most feverish leftwing fantasies with Merle - making him cartoonishly racist and bloodthirsty. If Merle didn't exist, they'd have to make Daryl the bitter clinger.

When the governor finds out that Michonne is alive, Merle is finished.

So much for Oscar, now Tyreese is going to be the token black guy.
To: cripplecreek
I can’t decide who I want to see kill Merle....Rick? Glen? Michonne?
Maybe Glen.
