I can;t believe that people lined up for the iPhone 5 that had features (some that actually worked) available in Android OS 2 or 3 releases ago.
That Galaxy commercial mocking the iPhone lines was pretty dead on.
My son drove me to the Verizon store last night to insist I upgrade to the Droid 4. He has had a Droid for a few years now, has recently upgraded to the Droid Razr HD, and was tired of me always wanting to look something up on his phone while we were out and about. I have also “borrowed” his Nexus, pretty permanently.
I determined years ago I wouldn’t get involved in the Apple hype. I like my PCs, and I have enjoyed the Droid line of products.
Apple products are for.nancy boys and the iPad is the computing equivalent of the man purse.
Real men use android, specifically Samsung, the best phone ever invented.
Apple Mac - made by pussies....for pussies.
We just bought a round of “Nexus-7” tablets for the family. At $250/unit it’s a bargain!
I’m hooked on the Droid OS. I currently use a Droid Razr Max and Xyboard tablet. My wife has the Droid 2 R2-D2 edition (yea, I know, but at least it isn’t Hello Kitty).
Both systems have their advantages. Apple is good out of the box, especially for people who already have a lot of iTunes based music and media.
Android is more for tinkerers and gadget freaks who like to play around with and customize their phone. You can personalize the Droid system to you much better than you can the Apple OS.
I’ve had both been with iOS for for 5 years switched to a galaxy s3 recently and I’ve come to the conclusion they both do the same thing but just different button prompts but ultimately they are both great operating systems.
This is an unfair comparison because you have one phone with iOS going against probably about a 100
Absolutely LOVE my Galaxy S3
With a mouth like that, you need to go to confession.
There's also ONE new iPhone release each year and dozens of Droid devices of all shapes, sizes, utility, upgradeability, OS versions, etc.
I have neither.
No Apple fanboy here by ANY means, but I've always found statements like this to be somewhat misleading. Apple iPhone is a single device/platform, on one type of phone, running mainly on a single carrier. Android can be on many many phones across virtually all of the carriers/providers. OF COURSE Android is going to be more heavily used than Apple. It simply has more 'saturation', being more readily accessible.
I’m typing this on my Galaxy S III. I like it, cracked screen and all! Mental note: don’t sit down with it in your pants pocket next time. Pretty tough, but not flexible!

I always wished that the man-purse would catch in the US. Think of how well a full-size handgun would fit inside one and then I wouldn’t have to wear a jacket in the Florida summer!
Love my Iphone. My husband has gone through two androids because they start acting up after about a year. If you want to keep your government Android/ Google big brother phone... go right ahead. My iphone is three years old and still as fast as ever. As for your categorical remarks, Iphone looks good next to my 762 semi.

Is this infantile rant supposed to mean something?
Troll.
In computers good enough and cheaper always wins. Apple made this same mistake a generation ago with PC’s and Microsoft.
Now they have made the same mistake with Phones and perhaps tablets with Google.
Microsoft also made a huge mistake in letting other vendors standards get established in these devices. Buyers don’t feel compelled to buy their products anymore and that is a big deal for them.
Interesting times.
Why? You think the priest doesn’t know that Apple phones are made by.....?
Apple is perhaps the most successful firm of our generation. The company has amassed several fortunes. Billions, in fact.
Had my own company made as many “mistakes” as Apple, I’d be far wealthier than I am.
LOL!
