Or is it the case that four years later, it’s still “Bush’s fault”?

Greta Van Susterin had Sam Facchini, owner of the Las Vegas Metro Pizza on tonight. This business has been owned by his family for 32 years. Over the years, his business has never had a layoff. He told about his fears that he won’t be able to handle Obamacare’s health care costs and will have to resort to layoffs. Like all food service businesses, they are labor intensive and have small profit margins. With 200 employees, the bill would add about $300,000 per year to his costs.

Thanks alot Zer0. FUBO!

After Obama has finished with NY, there’ll be a halal goat joint on every corner and camel dung for all.

You’ll get your delis, infidels.

"Mr. Zolenge cited the cost of doing business in New York. The landlord erected scaffolding in front of the restaurant a year ago, he said, and even though it came down in September, “we lost a whole year.” "

It was a major Bloomberg scam last year.

Truth is, the landlord received a fine on the facade and had to restore it. The flaw was probably very minor and at the very top of the the building, something only a building inspector could see with a microscope. Almost every landlord in NYC was hit with this. The daily fines were outrageous. Even if the landlord tried to do everything very fast, the paper pushers took their time.

My mom was hit with this fine (as well as other buildings on her street)even though there was nothing wrong with her brownstone building. The inspector made up something. To prove the inspector wrong, she still had to put up the scaffold or pay the daily $1,000 fine until one is put up. She had to get a 150k loan, hire lawyers, architects, contractors and historians. Historians because Bloomberg all of a sudden decided that her area was a historic section. They also made her 5 story building into a 6 story building on paper. Different laws apply to 6 story buildings. It was insane.

For one year the entire building had a scaffold and covered with a tarp. No sunlight came in through the windows, it was impossible to rent apartments. Now the rents are used to pay back the loan and with the price of fuel nowadays, landlords are suffering. A domino effect is happening.

I'm very sorry The Stage has to close. Blame it on Bloomberg. It's his doing.

I'm sure the "Stage Deli" food was too salty, too much fat, too many carbs, and not even fit to feed the homeless...

Doomberg will be happy...

So a business that was actually founded during the Great Depression could not survive the O-conomy. Hope and change indeed.

Out on the left coast in Marin county Calif we have just been relieved of a fantastic oyster company called DRAKES BAY OYSTER COMPANY having been around for a century. Secretary Ken Salazar felt the oyster company that is located on the Point Reyes National seashore land should be removed so to open up the land to the fat assed pinkos who want to hike the estero and litter it with their coke cans and marijuana roaches. Makes no sense removing a business loved by thousands of customers and restaurants around the bay area.

As if the Carnegie Deli's lines to get in, aren't long enough.

[Katz’s Deli is still better than both of them...just not as convenient to uptown]
