I ordered LC-51 compatible cartridges for a Brother printer, they sent LC-61. The seller corrected the order and sent the right cartridges. I've got a pack of LC-61 cartridges sitting here that I can't use. If you can use them PM me.
These are high quality 3rd party cartridges, I've used them for several years, they are as good as OEM.
Black and colors.
I use refill ink from Inksell.com and my black ink cartridges last 8 to 10 times long. The cost of that much ink is less than half of just 1 cartridge.
Initially I bought the kit from them which comes with a small manually operated drill bit, and a syringe with a long hollow needle, and other paraphernalia but mostly one needs only those 2 items. The trick is to refill ink in a cartridge before it is 90% used up. Once it dries out, then it blocks the micro-passages and ink will not flow through the injectors to the paper.
It takes a few turns of the finger operated drill to poke a hole in the top portion of cartridge, then fill the ink slowly with the syringe. Finally I stick a small piece of tape on the hole to prevent backflow. That’s it. The print quality is as good as new cartridge.
Sorry the only LC cartridges I refill are made of Brass and measure 51 or 63 mm in length
But glad it worked for you
Why wouldn’t the company you ordered from send a call tag for the return of the LC-61 carts? Seems odd that they don’t want them back. Unless they charged you for both orders.
Not worth it, the shipping was almost 50% of the order.
My printer uses them, but I’m well stocked with the LC65 high cap cartridges. I order in bulk from 101Inks.com and they are under $5 per...
It's on the family network so everyone here uses it.
I have a MFC-J6710W on my desk at work and the older model 11x17 at the house. Both do reasonable on photo grade paper and I like the 11x17. I really like the copy/scan/print combination (who still uses a fax?).
The real plus is they are $200 printers and cartridges are <$5 from 101inks.com...
I’ve got an MC465CN and can’t get accurate colors out of it. There is no way to fine tune it.
You might shop another newer one, the 11x17 have been about $200 to $250 and go on sale under $200 sometimes.
The other feature I use id the built in wifi connection they have. You can hook them to your cell phone or home network and everyone can print to them...
Ah, but you don’t know my brother.
He’s not compatible with much.
