Anyone speak fluent Hebrew?
כִּפַּת בַּרְזֶל
I know that it refers to the Iron Dome. But is that a literal translation?
Thanks.

Sorry, couldn’t resist...

Barzel means literally iron. It is one of the 5 PRINCIPLES of the JDL.
I Ahavat Yisroel Love of Jewry
II Hadar Dignity and Pride
III Barzel Iron
IV Mishmaat Discipline and Unity
V Bitachon Faith in the Indestructability of the Jewish People.
The translation is Iron Dome.

“Kipa” can mean: covering, yamulka, dome, cupola.
“Barzel” can mean: metal, steel, iron.
So Iron Dome is appropriate.

The reason I asked is because in the Book of Mormon there is mention of people that dwelt under a dome.
Supposedly it was part of a vision that some one experienced wherein there were also mentions of iron.
