Have you seen the uniforms the Steelers wore for tonight's game?
“1934 Pittsburgh Pirates Football Team uniforms.”
From the web: “In 1934, Pittsburgh’s pro football franchise went 2-10”.
They could at least have picked uniforms from a winning year.
Back in the age of innocence, when Mr. Do-Bee wasn't, well, you know.
I can’t believe they actually agreed to wear those uniforms.
I think they were honoring those Steelers who are now retired.
Those jerseys are offensive to the eyesight.
But, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and my youngest kiddie wears hers with pride.
I only want to know where to find the matching socks....
Saturday Night Live, the killer bees sketches.
sad sad,
pity the steelers.
Black and yellow version of “Where’s Waldo?”
The players were simply used to bars.
You want stats, here are stats:
Number of AFC Championship games since the last (and only) time the Ravens won a Super Bowl: Steelers 5, Ravens 2.
Number of AFC Championship wins since the last (and only) time the Ravens won a Super Bowl: Steelers 3, Ravens 0.
Number of Superbowl Rings since the last (and only) time the Ravens won a Super Bowl: Steelers 2, Ravens 0.
Maybe someday, your franchise will actually have as many Superbowl rings in its entire history as we've had since the last (and only) time you've been to there. Maybe. But it won't be any time soon, because your team isn't going to beat anyone in the playoffs, and you're certainly not going anywhere next year with the "talent" you've got.
So essentially, in a league where the QB is everything, you haven't had much success against us when the starter has played. True enough.
As for "RapistBurger" Seriously? A guy whose team has a thug like Ray Those-two-guys-were-already-dead-when-I-got-there Rice is giving me grief over a claim made by some drunken bimbo whose DA didn't even believe her? Wow.
Is your picture next to the definition of "lame" in the dictionary?
Rapistburger.
Seriously.
There - fixed. We have to keep our superstar thugs straight.
Please don't comment on a game unless you've actually watched the game, OK? This is just friendly advice. Commenting on things you know nothing about makes you look as stupid as, well, a Raven's fan.
Steelers | Ratbirds | |
NET YARDS RUSHING | 134 | 47 |
Avg per rush | 5.0 | 2.0 |
Here's a little hint for you, for the next time you watch a game: In football coaching terminology, gaining 5 or more yards per rush is called a "Win." Averaging 2.0 yards per carry on 20 carries is called "Pulling a Rice."
You suck. Get ready to enjoy watching other teams in the playoffs after round one.
Sorry. It’s also Ray My-Career-is-over Lewis.
Between October's save the boobies month with pink all over the place, throwback uniforms that are hideous, some of the new uniforms that are only missing the clown nose to complete the ensemble, players dancing after any tackle or catch or sack or TD like they just saved the village from a rogue elephant, and ass-hats personalizing the National Anthem, the NFL is becoming unwatchable.
How about a real throwback weekend with clothesline tackles, spearing, touching the ball down in the end zone, etc.
they are definitely period pieces
my father played in the 50s for VMI back when they were decent and was drafted by the Giants..I had a couple of his old jerseys
one thing was back then the numbers looked different...sewn on and less symmetrical and bigger
commentators had less accurate glass to watch the game I guess
a lot of the old jerseys were odd looking
and they played on less sophisticate turf in any weather with no roofs
hence muddy like a Rugby match and the needs for loud uniforms was self evident
folks today like flash uniforms...like video games
most things today for America’s average man is vicarious...a small percentage live action any more
fantasy football...fantasy life
grown men playing war on video games
I don;t get it
men were definitely more masculine when I was a boy even physically
i don’t see women being happy with soft pliable men who let them drive
with a username like yours I don’t think I have to explain any of this to you
My thoughts exactly!
LOL. Enjoy your moral victory. We Ravens fans will enjoy the victory that actually counts in the standings.
They didnt lay biff, pow, or anything else on anyone.
Again, LOL, Byron might quarrel with that - especially the safety blitz in the 4th q, but maybe you were in bed by then?
They arent going to beat Houston, New England, Denver, Indianapolis or any other decent team in the playoffs with that bunch.
Can't argue with you about Houston (although they looked quite beatable yesterday), but we have already beaten New England and they absolutely crushed Indy yesterday. We play Denver in a month. We shall see.
The (self-proclaimed) best quarterback in the NFL looked worse than a high schooler, and Ray Rice had about twelve yards.
But it was enough to beat you, how awful that must be for you, to be so superior and 2 games back in the standings. And before you throw Big Ben into the equation, we beat you guys both times last year with Ben at the helm.
If you think the Ravens have a good team, you haven’t watched much football.
<><><><><
so how does it feel to lose to a bad team for the 3rd time in a row, the first two of which Big Ben started?
I don’t particularly think the Ravens are playing all that well, in fact, on the road we are damn near terrible. So the real hoot is that we took you down in your house. Again.
Hey, at least we beat KC in regulation. LOL.
“Please don’t comment on a game unless you’ve actually watched the game, OK? “
Hey, pin-stripe boy, yeah you with the GQ uniforms. The Steelers didn’t rush for chit.
Most of that yardage was was on 2 runs, one by Leftwich.
HOW MANY RUSHING TDs DID YOUR RUGGED STEELERS HAVE?
Right, the broken play by Leftwich lol...
Any way you cut it. The Ravens beat the Squealers....Again.
Tick, tack, toe....3 in a row lmmfao.
