I thought Casino Royale had a great opening.

Loved Skyfall. It had everything that makes up James Bond

I really don’t think Roger Moore would have made a good secret agent. His reliance on false good looks and over-dependency on cartoon-like gadgetry would have gotten him killed on his first assignment.

Seems like a lot of james Bond threads lately.

And I still have not seen Skyfall and after reading some reviews I doubt I will.

Some movies I will go see at the moviehouse, they are really good if I also buy the Bluray disc, some like the latest Spiderman I won’t even buy the disc, it was so-so at the theater. Brave was a very good movie but again I have not bought the disc yet, and others like the Nicholas Cage skull biker, sorry I just cannot remember the name of it sucked so bad I doubt I’ll ever get the disc, that referring to the second film.

My personal favorite is the opening of "You Only Live Twice".

Nothing like killing off your protagonist in the first 5 minutes. Plus, I was a space nut, and there were spacecraft. Plus, I thought the way Bond was "rescued" by submarine was way cool!

Of course, I was 8 years old at the time. This may have been the first Bond movie I had ever seen, so it would have left more of an impression than the later ones.
